Adding friends or to library

When trying to add friends, or when trying to add artists to my library, I receive the following message:

Add to library
There was an error loading this dialog.

???

I get this when adding artists. Seems like this happens to a few people round here, and I haven't found a solution round this here forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
