my loved tracks are reeeally important to me

I have over 200 and am trying to play the list (the main reason I subscribed) because I want to manually add some stuff from it to my profile-page playlist. I was doing this with the last.fm Mac app. But the song shuffle or whatever sort of petered out -- I'd skip to the next tracks and get the same three or four in a row, and finally the same two a few times. Then came the error that there was "no more content." Came to the website to see if I could play them here; got the "oops! no content."

Does this just happen sporadically and go away shortly? Or, if it's happening now, does that mean there's a large bug or issue that will take a while to fix?

I can't listen to anything that I selected as songs I wanted to hear. My radio station says "oops no content" no matter what I do. I don't know what this great looking site is for but it's apparently not for listening to music. Oh and I can't upload photo's because I haven't listened to enough music.....hahaha....what a joke.

    Lots and lotsa love,

    I'm not re-subscribing

I have the feeling that this is actually a licensing/copyright issue. If you try and listen to the same songs too many times in a certain period, that playlist will be blocked to you. I guess that's life, but what I find dishonest is that we just get a stupid error message saying "Ooops! No content." This is not true. The truth is that the content has been blocked because you tried personalizing your listening preferences just a little more than is allowed by the rules. The reason I suspect this is because I repeatedly re-started my Loved Tracks playlist due to connection errors. And in the end I just keep getting that message. Just for that playlist though. Everything else is fine. That's just a little too co-incidental for my tastes. Rules are rules but what pisses me off is the lack of transparency here. Last.fm should just front up and tell its users exactly why their playlists appear to suddenly have no content, instead of treating us like dodos. Like we can't work it out.
My advice: use a proxy server so that your IP address won't be identified. Last.fm needs this to gather its information on you in order to block you from your own playlists.

No content for all radio stations, library, etc

    Hi,

I think this is more than a licensing problem. When I try to play radio stations of music I don't normally listen to, I get the Ooops, no content error.

    Is last.fm broken?

See the other thread here, there was some error just now:

(I'm closing this one as it's old now and the issue that was originally discussed has since been resolved.)
