reassigning wrong streams : mistagged tracks/albums/artists

:) you should really take a look at my library folder for lisa stansfield. over two thirds of the tracks on there are mistagged (3 albums' worth)! adding to the confusion is that what i listen to off my itunes library is obviously correct, but that data's mixed in with the mistagged scrobbles from last.fm streams when i'm tuned in. how they're going to sort that out escapes me. i think they'll just fudge it in the end as a one-time 'write-off'. anal? you and me both. ;)

Pink "Eventually" is in fact "You make me sick".

Several tracks by K's Choice are mistakenly scrobbled as being by "Ram Exponention" which I've never heard of personally. This ~~nobody~~ person has a whole K's Choice album assigned to him!

I actually DID search the forums for similar threads but I wasn't sure if your issue was exactly the same as mine, or if my post would be seen if added to an old thread. Duplicated artists

Not sure if this is the correct thread (if not, apologies) but there are a number of artists who appear twice - often when they have "and" in the name. The case I'd like to point out in particular is Love and Money - which is the correct tag and Love & Money. What makes this worse is that the streamable tracks are all on the incorrect Love&Money, even though it's clear from the number of listeners/plays that the first one is correct.

As a comparison, Belle and Sebastian and Belle & Sebastian both take you to the same place (in fact the tag has just changed the & to and)

Sorry if this is slightly OT, but what is the correct way to report incorrect song titles or artist names?

I (often?) see wrong letters, especially for Spanish language, like e instead of é, n instead of ñ, etc.

Or is this something that cannot be easily fixed?

Not sure, but I don't think Madeleine Peyroux should be on this album from Cousteau / Moreau. I think it's a mistake. It's not on the UK version of the same album from Cousteau. And according to All Music, which shows the USA version, it should be 'Black Heart of Mine'.

I hope this is the right thread, sorry if not, but for some reason the album Excellent Italian Greyhound by Shellac doesn't come up at all. The tracks get misassigned to other albums, such as Peel Session - Live from Maida Vale
e.g. The End of Radio

or when they do get assigned to Excellent Italian Greyhound the page doesn't come up
e.g. Genuine Lulabelle

i just discovered that this album has been completely fixed. whoever was responsible, thanks. or maybe it was something that righted itself when somebody fiddled with the database. whatever.
