The ones I wrote about (13?) are all about bands from Leeds itself. One day I will revisit Vancouver - the city where I first fell in love with rock and roll radio. Many years ago.

debaser18 was a a really great weekend for me, the suprise appearance from them crooked vultures was immense, I couldn't believe some of us were lucky enough to see those three together on stage,.There are an incredibly large ammount of dickheads that go to Leeds fest, but ah well the two do seem to go hand in hand nowadays.

ManicLoop, glad I'm not the only one who thought this, I was in the dance tent for the majority of Saturday (which was my favourite day) and all day all I heard was these fucking chavvy n00bs chanting "you wot, you wot" it's mega annoying!

crooked vultures and living end were highlights. but good mentions to friendly fires and faith no more. number of new bands in my download collection now which is good, last couple of years i didn't really "discover" any new gems but this years I have oh and fuck off everyone with the "you wot, you wot" shit. so annoying and fucking ruined prodigy, chavvy dicks

The Living End were really great, I admit that I had not heard of them prior to the festival but I checked them out with a friend and was mightily impressed. I also really enjoyed seeing Spinerette. It's so hard to get to that silent disco, queues were massive :( Ian Brown was really great too, so glad he played Fools Gold.

durkules Yeah, the Doug Stanhope set was hilarious, was impressed that he turned it round to get a good reception at the end after the way it started haha As for bands, the best of each day for me were Them Crooked Vultures, Gallows and Anti-flag

SovietJoe Them Crooked Vultures were fucking amazing, highlight of the weekend, and I almost pissed myself laughing at Doug Stanhope getting the crowd to hate him after 2 minutes. Really enjoyed The Living End (Surprised), Eagles Of Death Metal (Un-surprised) and Alexisonfire (Ashamed) too.

DaveBrilley Tim Minchin, Set Your Goals, Billy Talent, Jamie T, The Maccabees, White Lies and Bloc Party were particular highlights for me. And the pits for Shikari were fantastic. Shame they didn't play Ok Time For Pan B

Fucking ace weekend.. Best part: them crooked vultures Worst part: seeing kings of leons new fanbase being nothing like the crowds they had 5 years ago. Mollys chamber came on and everyone just stood there. What the fuck? people used to go mental and leon shows. Its cliche i know but its sad how polished the band have become. I miss them as a band and the atmosphere at their shows being raw and edgy.
