Its Dot to Dot time of year again so i thought i d review the whole thing on here aswell as my blog like i did before. Unfortunately we couldnt get over 18s tickets (they were suprisingly strict about it) and it sucked how limited that made it. However most of the good bands played 14+ venues so it wasn't too bad (apart from getting chucked out early both days).
First day:
I was absolutely knackered due to only having 3/4 hours sleep so didnt drink (sleepy + drunk = bad)! The day overall though was quite good and some fun times were to be had, despite the limitations of being 17!
Damn Shames
catchy 3 piece with a disco feel and really good music. interesting that they had no drummer, only saw about 3 songs but was high quality and i d recommend looking out for them in 2008, 2nd best band of the day.
Metronomy
As always they were fun and hillarious! the music was pretty good too but the crowd didnt seem into it really. The dancing and lighting were excellent, visually this band are fantastic!
