It’s coming home, it’s coming home…

After 8 years the waiting comes to an end. The Air & Style comes home to the legendary Bergisel Stadium with a completely new format to introduce the next generation of Air & Style.

15 years ago it was the first in city snowboard event, now it is the most important snowboard contest of the world! At the 2nd of February 08 Innsbruck will write snowboard history again.
The only difference to the years 1993 – 1999 is the new format: a quarter pipe contest. On the opposite hillside of the Bergisel Stadium the riders will face a massive white wall of snow and with up to 90 km/h they will shoot into the skyline of Innsbruck. The long airtime means enough time to stick sick tricks and massive styles. The king of airtime, Terje Hakonsen himselft will be the head of the 24 riders!

We promised you a top class Line Up, so here it is: We present a fistful of Kings at once: The Queens of the Stone Age - energetic Rock, touching lyrics and a show that you have never seen before. Be there when the Stone Age meets future and sets the whole stadium on fire!

“God, you sound like the queens of the stone age“. With these words one of the most affected band history of the 21st century started. Despite of the constantly varying crew not only the core part of the band Josh Homme stayed the same but also the distinguishable sound which always redefined. The Queens of guitars are not only attracting by their amazing lyrics but by irresistible guitarsounds. After famous compilations such as ‚Queens of the Stone Age’, ‚Rated R’, ‚ Songs for the Deaf’ and ‚Lullabies To Paralyze’ the Stone Age impresses now with ‚Era Vulgaris’, another masterpiece of rock with astonishing power. We are ready for a dose of real rock!

Since the year 2001 the German Hip Hop scene was deeply influenced by the Deluxe Soundsystem, in details Samy Deluxe, DJ Dynamite and Tropf.
Tracks like “Ladis & Gentlemen”, “Wie Jetzt?” or “Grüner Briller” where part of every Radio Station playlist and command the German charts.
In the year 2004 during the work for Samy Deluxe album “verdammtnochmal” they storage the tightest beats and rimes, and started to work on the Dynamite Deluxe Album which will be released in January 2008. The lads took their time to present a high quality product without date of expiry. We look forward for a first class Deluxe performance at the Billabong Air & Style 08 at the Bergisel Stadium.
