Gothic Meets Klassik - Klassik Tag

Am 10. und 11. November 2012 findet in Leipzig ein Event der ganz besonderen Art statt, das es in dieser Form noch nicht gegeben hat. Namhafte Bands der Szene werden an zwei Tagen zwei besondere Konzerte an zwei Orten spielen. Der erste Tag steht im Zeichen eines regulären Gothic-Festivals, an dem die Bands in ihrer gewohnten Besetzung im Haus Auensee ihre regulären Shows spielen. Am zweiten Tag gibt es eine besondere Auswahl dieser Bands dann mit exklusiven Shows im Gewandhaus, wie man sie noch niemals gesehen hat. Gemeinsam mit einem Symphonieorchester spielen sie komplett umarrangierte Versionen ihrer Stücke im neoklassischen Stil. Gothic meets Symphonic

On November 10th and 11th, 2012, a very special event will be staged in Leipzig that has never been attempted in this form in the scene. Renowned scene acts will be playing two special concerts on two consecutive days in two venues in the city. The first day will be a regular Gothic festival extravaganza at Haus Auensee which will see the bands perform their regular sets in their regular line ups. Day two will a special selection from those bands performing exclusive concerts at the Gewandhaus, in a way that you have never seen them before: all groups will play exclusive neo-classical rearrangements of their songs with a full symphony orchestra. With VNV NATION, BLUTENGEL & STAUBKIND we were able to win over three of the most renowned and successful bands from the German scene for this extraordinary project.
