greene1994 the fact that the fest is getting increasingly more commercial is definitely a problem. they need to really cut back on the tix next year, or, sadly, in a few years, as that comedian before Pavement said, we'll be looking at Lollapalooza 2.0. It was a shitton more crowded than it needed to be this year. Back in 2006, there was practically no one there, and you could arrive 5 minutes before the band started and still get front row spots. I'm definitely not attending next year if they plan on selling even more tix.

AnnaIstRad I love Michael Showalter, and I love that in an interview before he said he knew the crowd wouldn't like it. I wish I was there for him. I hate Modest Mouse but I used to love Broken Social Scene, and even though it would have been cool to see them, I would have chosen the comedy stage over BSS for sure.
