Well, it's kinda hard for me to review the support act at this gig, since I am the lead singer. However, I thought we played well, maybe the best we ever have done, and the crowd reaction to our little set was fantastic, couldn't have asked for better. And when a member of Mostly Autumn says that they're proud to be supported by us, you know you've done well. Set list:
Walking Towards
27 Dresses
Solitude
Misunderstood Effigy
Build the Pyre
Mostly Autumn were as fantastic as always, the sound maybe wasn't the best I'd ever heard but they were firing on all cylinders and produced a cracking set clocking in at way over 2 hours. The set differed slighty from when I saw the in London in February but it was ver similar:
Fading Colours
Caught in a Fold
Flowers for Guns
Unoriginal Sin
Simple Ways
The Spirit of Autumn Past - Part 2
Half the Mountain
Evergreen
-
Winter Mountain
The Dark Before the Dawn
Answer the Question
The Last Bright Light
Above the Blue
Tearing at the Faerytale
Nowhere to Hide (Close my Eyes)
Broken Glass
Never the Rainbow
Pocket Watch
Heroes Never Die
-
Carpe Diem
Turn it on Again [Genesis cover]
Great set, can't wait to see them at Cambridge.
Overall 10/10 for everything!!
