The Doctor’s Orders is without doubt the place for underground hip-hop sounds in London. With line ups that have consistently included the great and the good of the UK and US scene’s tonight’s line up is no different. Boasting another all-star line up of raw Hip-Hop talent this is bound to be another roadblock.



Headliners Frank-N-Dank are best known for their work alongside their fellow Detroit native the late, great production genius J-Dilla having appeared on each of his albums and used his studio skills on many of their most popular releases. With fierce rhyme flows that cover everything from gritty street life to parties in strip clubs Frank-N-Dank are the epitome of underground MC’s. While not as well known as some of their peers they combine elements of Common, A Tribe Called Quest, Ludacris and more in a style that is well loved by the knowledgeable Doctor’s Orders faithful.

Blessed with the duties of spinning for Frank & Dank & the packed dance-floor is The Doctor’s Orders resident party provider DJ Spin Doctor who as ever will be treating his home crowd to a skillful mix of all fashions of Hip-Hop old & new along with other soulful party platters. He is joined in the main room by friend and legend of the UK scene Mr Thing. One of the greatest talents the UK has produced he is in his element making beats in the studio or crushing other DJs in DJ battles but is never more at home than when rocking a club with one of his distinctive sets.

Kidkanevil is a longtime fan of The Doctor’s Orders having passed through our doors on several occasions to take his place on the dance-floor. Tonight though “One of the UK’s most Original producers” (Hip-Hop Connection) is blessing us with a set of pretty much whatever he likes upstairs on the first floor. His fan base that includes the likes of DJ Shadow, DJ Vadim & pretty much everyone that has heard his albums is sure to be swelled tonight once they have heard his selection of jazz, dubstep, hip-hop and so much more.

Joining the evil kid upstairs is one of London’s busiest DJs Alex Nut. While not promoting music to the UK’s DJs through his All Young Kings promotion company he is spinning alongside them making the crowds move with selections of the very latest sounds from each corner of the globe including hip-hop, grime, dubstep, electro and beyond.
