    Fri 15 May – ATP curated by The Breeders

    What a wonderful weekend.

    Here's some photos taken by me:

    I'll try and write a proper review, in the meantime.....

    Wire were absolutely superb;

    Teenage Fanclub were excellent (a few new tracks Joey - very similar to the stuff on Howdy and Man-Made but that's no bad thing)

    Tricky was extraordinary, he had the whole place rocking;

    Gang of Four were superb - much better than I expected and Andy Gill really gave it everything;

    and X were very good. I don't know much about them but I love Billy Zoom's schtick. What a star and very funny. I never realised he'd played with Gene Vincent - bet he could tell a few stories.

    The bands are only half the story -the bingo, the pop quiz ,the vibe and hanging out with good friends is also a big part of it.

    Another excellent (fourth) ATP. I will definitely be back for more in 2010.

    And loads more photos from a plethora of other photographers here:
