A great gig, as usual, and it was nice to see Heisenflei rock the drums. She's a very talented musician and she'll make it big one day with The Pity Party.
The Fonda managed that slightly "jarring" trademark Raveonettes sound much better acoustically than any other venue in town I've seen them at so far, even the El Rey. I remember that our ears were almost falling off when they played at the Echo (incidentally with The Pity party opening for them). The gig seemed a little short, but they did play for approximately an hour. One bass player was on stage that I did not recognize, but all in all, the two additions were excellent choices. As they played "Aly walk with me" and "Dead sound", I was happy enough. I also very much enjoyed the light effects, which accentuated RaveOn and were well choreographed.
Good to see Sharin back on stage so quickly after giving birth, too. One day, I want to see them perform in Copenhagen!
