This man is like a pimp in psychoanalysis, exposing his thoughts and feelings to the world. A flawless, simple show, reminiscent in places of a 70's rock gig. Sebastian is clearly at home on stage, relaxed and creative as he goes along. The tracks were mainly from the 'Sexuality' album, opening the show with Kilometer. Someone said, live, he is even better and I have to say that it is true. This man is not afraid of veering away from the safe templates of his songs which did end up being a little bit indulgent at times (just like his drinking and smoking on stage, lol); taxing the audience's patience (suddenly there was a queue in the ladies toilets) and simultaneously being inspiring. There was no sense of being rushed through a much rehearsed and performed programme rather, he continuously showed an affectionate interest in his audience, the majority of whom were French (throwing witty banter at him about mothers, etc - you can imagine where this is going...). His band, especially the drummer guy (sorry, don't know his name, am not such a nerd after all) did their best to keep up with Sebastian's erratic and eccentric outbursts.
All in all a fun evening.
