Wed 10 Sep – The Kooks, stellastarr*, Illinois, Marques The Kooks were nothing short of fabulous. They performed all their most well-known songs, and a couple of not so well known ones. The New York crowd was a bit of a let down, though, as when The Kooks left the stage after performing the main set, the crowd didn't do much in the way of demanding an encore, and the performance was certainly worthy of it. The band, being gracious, came out for an encore anyway, which included a couple of acoustic songs played solo by lead singer Luke Pritchard, followed by a couple of songs by the whole band.
Stellastarr* was an enjoyable opening act, and the music was good. However, in comparison to The Kooks, Stellastarr* lacked a strong stage presence.
