    What an outstanding show! It was great to see the diversity in age groups at this show! Clearly Maiden has stood the test of time because there were kids of all ages there.

    A great selection of songs (mostly from Powerslave) and by far the best sound quality of a show I've ever been to @ Blossom.

    Can't wait for Maiden to tour again.

    Last night a group of five of us were enslaved by what we agreed was the best Iron Maiden show we've seen in years, maybe since the 80s! One of us had not seen them since 1988, and one never had - what a treat of a first show for her.

    They're pulling out all the stops on this tour, as you've probably read elsewhere, but it must be seen to be believed: it is an awesomely powerful experience to once again see live Maiden with the full classic Powerslave stage set, pyro, fireworks, the android Eddie, and a setlist covering the best of the beast.

    A nice surprise, too, to have the full mummy Eddie rise from behind the pharaoh Eddie mask over Nicko McBrain's kit, just like we saw on the World Slavery Tour and shown in the great Live After Death DVD that we watched/listened to on the road trip down to the show (convenient that Johnny Vinyl has a DVD player in his ride). I thought that when I listened to Bruce Dickinson and Dave Murray talking with Bob…

    As Nicko would say, " 'kin Great!" Cleveland's night with Maiden is finally at hand! I leave in just a few minutes, and we'll just let the Maiden tracks scobble the night away!

    Today's selection in honor of POM's 25th Anniversary (last month), and because it's on the setlist!

    If you can't see them on this tour, no worries! You should know by now they're filming each tour. This time around, we'll get a real treat! Sam Dunn, the man behind Metal: A Headbanger's Journey and Global Metal got the job this time. It will be a feature-length film shot on board Ed Force One and at the shows, and will include both backstage and front-and-center show footage. I've thrown the horns for Sam before, and I can guarantee it will be a good one!

    In fact, I think I want to be Sam Dunn when I grow up: I cannot believe that dude is so lucky to be paid to do that dream gig!

    Despite all the SotD picks from Maiden in the past, I've never chosen one from this, their center masterpiece of the 80s! A good choice since this tour will be focused on the classic 80s albums & tracks!

    "Aces High" and so am I! Iron Maiden is coming to the midwest after all! Be proud Cleveland, because they're only stopping two places: Chicago on June 11th and right here in Cleveland June 12th! This show is happening just by the skin of my teeth because Friday, June 13th we preparing for vacation and get out of town the next day. Really cutting it close, but a GREAT way to kick off vacation!

    I got the notice about the fanclub presale only after it had started this morning. Having not seen them in so long and knowing that this is only one of two shows in the region, I figured better not to wait until Saturday for general sale. …
