I still love REM, but was just annoyed, just as you would have been if they didnt play the song you wanted to hear the most. But they are a band, like many others who havent really made anything in the last 8 years worth shouting about, should do like Rage and just tour, there starting to lose it. So what Im a child just because I dont share the same opinion as you, what a muggy cunt. Aye Busted are dated, but still enjoyable to listen to. They wouldnt have the same effect if they played now I believe

They haven't played Everybody Hurts at live gigs in the last 2/3 years, to my knowledge, I guess it doesn't really suit the mood.

They did look dated, but doesnt mean I didnt enjoy it, you can see that there old men now, compared to other bands of the era there stage performance isnt strong. Playing everybody hurts has fuck all with them being dated. Its my fav song, so Im going to be annoyed they didnt play it, so go twat off you mug

I was listening to an interview with Mike Mills on radio5 a week ago and he gave the reasons the band doesn't always play everyone of the bigger hits like everybody hurts and nightswimming. And if the band has reasons that they don't always want to play the same songs over and over fair play. I'd preffer to hear some of the well known songs but also some of the earlierstuff that isn't done at every gig. I've seen REM six times now and that was the best of all the gigs i've ever been to.

To not play "Everybody hurts" is a joke. Why do bands not play there best songs? We buy the albums, but we want to see the classics

R.E.M. were brilliant - I passed up an opportunity to see them play by Loch Lomond about fifteen years ago and I've regretted it ever since, so it was superb to finally catch them live. Stipe continues to be a great showman, and the atmosphere at Twickenham was superb!
