The show started out with Chase Pagan, a bearded man from Arkansas. The dual musician (piano and guitar) provided a lovable set of tunes that could be classified as country-rock. He had a virtually limitless vocal range which really expanded his musical talent to the fullest. An excellent musician overall just trying to make it out of Arkansas. Who can blame him?
Delta Spirit was quite the impressive bunch ranging anywhere from classic to folk rock. With a unique blend of instruments including the harmonica and keyboard, Delta Spirit provided a sound I had never heard before. The crowd showed more enthusiasm for these guys than Matt Costa himself which explains Matt Costa's measly encore uproar, which ended up being anything BUT an uproar.
Either the audience was too tired to care when Matt Costa came on stage or just flat out too drunk. I would blame part of it on the venue. The stage was rather low and only the first two rows of people could actually see the band. …
