I'm a fairly new set of ears to the SP's but my wife is a life long fan. Unfortunately we'd never seen them live prior to Reading last year and we managed to get tickets to this event too. Both experiences were fantastic. It would be really cool to catch them at a smaller venue admittedly since the o2 wasn't very well managed in my opinion; various little niggles, but not enough to spoil our trip

Agreed with Wilbur, they play a lot of shows, they have a huge back catalogue and should be allowed to choose whatever the hell they want from it instead of just playing the same fan favourites over and over again. It's not like they didn't play any classics at all, we had Bullet, Ava Adore, Today, 1979, Porcelina.... Oh and I thought Ginger was very good.

I don't see how people can be disappointed, the music was great, and you can tell the set list was chosen carefully. Not to be crowd pleasers, but to be genuinely good live songs...

To talk2bar, Yeah it didn't sound like it at all but that cannot be done without D'arcy singing it, it sounded more like they were jamming at that point, Thats the way was amazing it should have been recorded like that for Zeitgeist, My blue heaven and lily were also great, random but great and were a nice little break from the heavier songs, what were your highlights?

This was the fifth time I have seen them and I'm glad they feel they can play what they want so they enjoy the gig rather than playing the same songs over and over. I really enjoyed the setlist for this tour. A good handful of songs I hadn't seen live or never thought I would. Highlights for me were Cash Car Star, and Superchrist. Would've liked Muzzle and/or XYU. I'll be at the next UK shows.

I didn't like the lack of screens either - but the O2 *does* have them, (Did for The Verve anyway) the Pumpkins must have opted not to use them... I'd also echo the disappointment, they were far too self-indulgent at times which wasn't made up for by the sporadic moments of brilliance.
