Mercury Music-Prize-nominated Sweet Billy Pilgrim have revealed the video for their brand new single ‘Just Above Midtown’ - a mammoth dose of electronic pop. Bursting with funky slap bass lines, arpeggiated synths and a chorus worthy of eating up the airwaves, this is Sweet Billy Pilgrim delivering their music to the masses. It is also one of the highlights of the band’s forthcoming album ‘Motorcade Amnesiacs’.

‘Motorcade Amnesiacs’ follows on from their critically acclaimed album ‘Crown and Treaty’, which was awarded a coveted five stars by Mojo, and its Mercury Music Prize-nominated predecessor ‘Twice Born Men’, and will be released through Kscope, home of artists including Steven Wilson, Anathema, Nordic Giants and Engineers.

The album is a remarkable body of work. Ten years into Sweet Billy Pilgrim’s singular career, their development from electronic / acoustic experimentalism into widescreen accessibility is fully realised on this, their fourth longplayer.
