"With a career spanning over a decade, Moore's voice first emerged while fronting early hardcore band Beloved. Afterwards he joined NYC Alt-Punk band Classic Case, and steadily crisscrossed the country touring. Josh eventually settled in Carrboro, N.C. and began collaborating and performing solo material with close friends, as well as lending vocal harmonies to several Drughorse releases."

Parted Ways (2015), the debut solo album from Josh Moore, marks a return to the passion and emotion of his former days. Produced and engineered in-house by Jeff Crawford at Arbor Ridge Studios (Chapel Hill, N.C.), the album was recorded with the musical backing of his loyal brethren in The Dead Tongues, as well as a handful of soulful singers and multi-instrumentalists from the area. Parted Ways finds the singer-songwriter with a fresh sense of purpose and direction.

The multifaceted, tireless Jenks Miller turns his composing and guitar-shredding talents to his first widely distributed solo album Spirit Signal, an experimental LP totally of-a-moment, as each track was conceived, tracked, and mixed in one day. As fans know, Jenks Miller’s talents run deep and wide: his band Horseback deftly amalgamates black metal with a southern, sprawling atmosphere while Mount Moriah, a collaborative effort with singer Heather McEntire, delivers rich, tender country-rock ballads. The markings of both are present in the expressive, impressionistic Spirit Signal, which hits stores in September and will be supported by a slew of solo shows around Jenks’ already busy schedule with Horseback and Mount Moriah.
