THE BEARDS AND JEBEDIAH TO HEADLINE BITTER AND TWISTED 2014 (Jebediah on stage 2:30pm)

The world's premier beard-related rock act The Beards and pioneering Australian punk rock & grunge band Jebediah will headline the 2014 Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival, which returns to the historic Maitland Gaol on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November.

With their catchy beard related tunes, The Beards are sure to set the tone of this year's Saturday line up. Having embarked on multiple sold out Australian tours, The Beards will be a popular addition to Bitter and Twisted in 2014.

With top billings at Big Day Out, Livid and Homebake, Jebediah are veterans of the stage and promise to deliver a high tempo performance on the Sunday. With a host of popular hits to their name including Leaving Home, Military Strongman, Teflon, Harpoon, Fall Down, No Sleep and Animal, Jebediah are sure to get the crowd up on their feet.

Also confirmed to Join The Beards on the Saturday line up will be Melbourne collective, Eagle and the Worm. More acts for this year's event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Where is Bitter and Twisted?
Bitter and Twisted is held in the former maximum security prison Maitland Gaol. The Gaol is located in John St East Maitland

What time does it start?
The festival runs from 10.00am - 6.00pm on Saturday 1 November and 10.00am - 4.00pm Sunday 2 November.

What do the tokens do?
Bitter & Twisted tokens are the currency of choice once you enter the gates.
1 token is equal to $1.00 and tokens can be purchased throughout the site over the weekend in $5.00 lots.
Tokens are used to sample beer and wine and to buy food from the food stalls.
One token will purchase a 100ml tasting of your chosen beer, with two tokens making a 200ml tasting (a full Bitter & Twisted tasting glass).
