On May 17, 2011, GET BENT launched with its first post, and we’ve been barreling ahead ever since. To celebrate the occasion, we’re excited to announce the first in what we hope will be a long line of GET BENT BIRTHDAY BASHES!

It’s dirty Southern rock n roll for Austin with locals John Wesley Coleman, Dikes of Holland, and Grape St., plus Memphis heavyweight hitters Modern Convenience. School’s out, and Rubberneck co-founder and photographer Jon Chamberlain will be spinning the tunes, which only can mean one thing: it’s time to party.
