Excitement is growing for the return of Tinie Tempah who is now performing with a full live band and is set to deliver a fast and furious show. With his roots in London’s underground scene, UK rap superstar Tinie hit the ground running with his monster anthem and debut single ‘Wifey’ back in 2006. A cult hero with the UK rap fraternity, indie kids and grime rollers alike, this high octane MC has been kicking goals left right and centre.
2010 and 2011 have seen Tinie rise to global superstardom with his debut album Discovery producing the monster hits ‘Pass Out’, ‘Written In The Stars’, Swedish House Mafia collaboration ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, ‘Invincible’ (Feat Kelly Rowland) and ‘Till I’m Gone’ featuring Brooklyn rapper Wiz Khalifa. He’s also featured with Chase & Status on their track ‘Hitz’.
Tinie is set to go to go even larger in 2012 – particularly if his latest collaboration ‘Earthquake’ with fellow UK rapper Labrinth is anything to go by. Having already scooped the pool with Best Breakthrough Act and Best Single chimes at the iconic 2011 Brit Awards, Best UK Hip Hop/Grime Act, Best Newcomer and Best Video at the Mobo Awards and Best solo artist at the GQ awards… the sky’s the limit for this eloquent hero.
