The supercharged supergroup Taraf da Haidouks (at exhilarating full-tilt they must play more notes per second than any other band) tops the bill for a night of first class music with a rootsy edge.
Joining them are the Hilliard Ensemble, one of the worlds finest vocal ensemble groups and violinist, Pekka Kuusisto who makes two appearances this weekend – in his classical and out there incarnations. In both cases he’s playing Bach – tonight, with a twist of electronica about it.
