Breaking new ground between South Asian classical and Spanish dance music — as befits the innovative legacy of her father and mentor, the great Ravi Shankar —Anoushka Shankar condenses Gypsy music’s thousand-year migration from India to Europe into one exceptional evening. Andalusian flamencos and Carnatic ragas merge seamlessly, with traditional instruments from India and Spain as well as a dancer.
