De toonaangevende indierock band The Shins komt met de nieuwe CD ‘Port of Morrow’ sinds vijf jaar weer naar Nederland.

The Shins begon in 1996 als zijproject van singer/songwriter James Mercer, toen zijn toenmalige band Flake Music stopte. Mercer staat aan het hoofd van The Shins, waarvan de line-up blijft veranderen. Mercer schrijft alle nummers, is de zanger, gitarist en percussionist van de band. Het vierde album, ‘Port of Morrow’, is gemixt door Rich Costey en geproduceerd door Greg Kurstin. Hieronder is al de eerste single te luisteren!

    Hmmm strange...I was actually really disappointed with the concert! They were not interacting with the public at all and the sound was just dull. They looked really un-inspired. Still an amazing band though....just not an amazing live-act IMHO.
