Hot on the heels of two sold-out shows at the London Jazz Festival 2011, Portico Quartet step out on a UK tour with their third, self-titled album, due for release on Real World Records in early 2012.
Charting the band’s ever-expanding sonic horizons, it melts together dub-step beats, electronic sparks, contemporary classical music and a very modern kind of jazz improv in a translucent musical blend that can both hypnotise and thrill.
