Tue 23 Oct – Tori Amos
Tori opened the evening with Pip and the difference between her and her doll was very clear. Pip's interpretations of the songs reflected her more aggressive, less generous personality.

This is my third Tori show and it was perhaps the least emotional I've seen so far. The only time it seemed Tori was really becoming passionate was during a bridge after someone rudely yelled out during a vulnerable moment in Winter - it was as if she was playing out her frustration in that moment.

Overall however, Tori is a consummate performer, you really can't go wrong with one of her shows.

The opener, Yoav, was also fun. His lyrics left something to be desired, but the crowd seemed to really enjoy him. His music is also much better live than recorded!
