Sonic Youth 31st August Roundhouse

So august ends and with it the summer, school begins and with it normal life returns. However this heavy blow was softened by two of the most kickass gigs EVER, so before i go to school i feel like detailing them here so i have something to make me happy before school grinds me down.
On friday sonic youth were performing Daydream Nation at the roundhouse in part of atp's "dont look back" series of concerts, the 2nd gig of 3 that they were doing there. As i walked there, listening to daydream nation of course, the sun shone nicely, camden buzzed in that slightly scuzzy way that it does and for some reason there was excitement in the air. I got to the roundhouse early, soon after doors had opened, and went to the merch stand. They had a limited edition poster for 20 pounds but that was really too much for a few words, not even a picture, just saying "sonic youth, roundhouse blah blah"…
