Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser’s dynamic fiddling and deep understanding of Scotland’s music has created international demand for his concerts. His film credits include The Last of the Mohicans, Titanic, and Treasure Planet. Alasdair’s critically acclaimed albums includes Dawn Dance and most recently Legacy of the Scottish Fiddle - Volume One on which Fraser and pianist Paul Machlis pay tribute to Scotland’s master fiddle composers. A graduate of the Juilliard School, vibrant young cellist Natalie Haas is a seasoned performer, recording artist and teacher and currently lives in Montreal.

Nominated for Best Group at both the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and the Scots Trad Music Awards, Breabach are one of the most celebrated and successful Scottish folk bands of recent times. Their enviable musicianship and adaptability is elegantly displayed through the thoughtful arrangement and delivery of songs. A repertoire that effortlessly fuses the traditional and contemporary underlines their commitment and passion for their musical heritage but also displays a willingness to explore and challenge boundaries.

2011 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year, Kristan Harvey has just graduated with an honours degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Having performed at festivals and events such as BBC Proms in the Park and Blas Festival throughout Scotland and further afield, she is currently enjoying playing with new and upcoming band The Sanna as well as furthering her solo ambitions with pianist Harris Playfair. Kristan is joined on piano by Megan Henderson.
