The Metro Radio Arena is proud to announce that Alice Cooper and special guests Motorhead will be playing on Friday 9th November 2007.


Alice Cooper found success in the early 70’s with their breakthrough single ‘School’s Out’. The release of ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ set the group at the top of the charts. Add to this their spectacular concerts, and the group were at the height of their popularity.


In 1973, however, the group and the lead singer Vincent Damon Furnier split and after changing his name to that of the group, Alice Cooper, he went on to release top ten hits such as ‘Trash’ and ‘Poison’. He has also worked with artists Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and most of Aerosmith and starred in horror films.


Starring on tour with Alice Cooper will be Motorhead. Motorhead’s overwhelmingly loud and fast style of heavy metal was one of the most groundbreaking styles the genre had to offer in the late ’70s.

    I thought the gig was good. Alice Cooper was awesome and in my opinion so were Motorhead despite the fact the instruments were alot louder than the vocals so it was hard to understand them. Joan Jett was good too. Was an awesome night :]

    i saw alice cooper last nite at telewest arena newcastle he was fantastic still got after all these years joan jett and the blackhearts was 1 ov his supports she kicked ass 2 but motorhead was very poor nevamind was great nite
