SWITCH, aka Solid Groove, is a pop-crazed madman set on turning genres on their heads! From his incendiary DJ sets across the globe to his remixes and productions, Dave Taylor, aka Switch, has created his own type of innovative jacking house that draws from all the best bits of electronic music. He’s one of the U.K.’s most prominent electronic producers and the pioneer of fidget house, Switch has remixed for everyone from Lily Allen to Black Ghosts to Bjork and produced for the likes of M.I.A. and Santogold. His Dubsided record label continues to flourish, with releases from the likes of Sinden, Trevor Loveys and Jesse Rose, and more. Named XLR8R’s Artist of the Year in 2007, he hasn’t stopped! His ever popular project, Major Lazor, with partner, Diplo has received international acclaim and rave reviews.

Support has just been confirmed as well: featuring Dubsided recording artist STICKY K along with blasthaus destroyer NISUS. Rod Kashani (Sticky K), spent the majority of his life a music lover as opposed to a music maker. Sure, there were the piano lessons as a child and then high school garage bands but it was difficult for Kashani to believe he could have an actual career in music. While attending University and reading scripts from Hollywood film companies, Kashani found himself experimenting in music production. The little free time he had was spent consumed by quest for the perfect beat. Before even earning his diploma, the 20-year old producer’s tracks caught the eye of Dubsided label founder and renowned producer Switch, who realized Sticky’s star potential and quickly signed him to his Dubsided imprint alongside current stars Herve, Sinden, Lee Mortimer, and Duke Dumont. Following the release of 2 EP’s and a slew of remixes, Kashani’s profile had transformed from an ordinary college kid to an international DJ/producer supported by the likes of Diplo, Crookers, Sinden, Drop The Lime, and Larry Tee. Now, still only 23 years old, Sticky K’s debut album is due for release in late 2010 alongside collaborations with Dubsided honcho Switch plus brand new remixes for artists as diverse as Major Lazer and Christina Aguilera—-all of which confirms Sticky K’s status as one of the USA’s most promising young talents within the dance Community.
