After a blood pumping, sweat dripping, solid Rock and Roll performance on a series of Sold Out Big Day Out shows across Australia, Airbourne are back touring their homeland this June with a tour kicking off in Traralgon VIC, rocking through SA, NSW and finishing up in Coolangatta QLD.

The boys, hailing from country town Warrnambool, spent the last year rocking the world playing all sorts of big festivals in Europe and USA on the …back of their 2010 release No Guts. No Glory.
No Guts. No Glory was recorded in Chicago with noted producer Johnny K. The band relocated from their shared home in Warrnambool Victoria and moved into K’s spacious studio to record the album.
Frontman Joel O’Keefe says, “Working with Johnny K was great, he’s one of the boys. We basically just set up all the gear, chucked a few mics around and went for it! Good times!” Brother and drummer Ryan confirms the precarious microphone placement, “With this album, we threw the mics all over the building, left the doors and windows open and pressed record!”
Airbourne are only back briefly before jetting off for another European tour, first stop Sonisphere Festivals followed shortly by a UK tour with Iron Maiden as their main support and then a headlining spot in one of Germany’s largest open-air gatherings, Wacken Festival, and that’s just the first announcement of the year!

UniBar is located at Northfields Avenue, Building 12, Wollongong (Central to the University of Wollongong).

The FREE Arrive Alive shuttle bus will be there to get you safely to where you need to go after the show. The bus departs from Northfields Avenue between 10:30pm-12:00am stopping at North Wollongong Station, Weerona, Campus East, I-House and in Wollongong for those ready to kick on.
