Tue 1 May – Elf Power
Wow I had a great time at this event. Before this show I was not as familiar with Elf Power than the rest of the bands related to Elephant 6. Despite not knowing any of the words I had an awesome time. The venue was surprising, comfortable, and fun. I was worried this might be like some other shows where no one dances and just stands and nods but luckily most everyone was having a fun time. I was not familiar with Rademacher before this event. Besides having heard of them I thoroughly enjoyed them though no one really danced for them. I would go into more detail about the venue but I'll just write a venue review instead.
One thing that confused me a little about the venue was its name. I had the impression that it might be some grimy hole in the wall. As I was on main street looking around I passed quite a few Bikers. I thought I was at the right place but instead it was just Starbucks and the venue was across the street.
