Hailing from Gilbert, Arizona, Lydia will be gracing the stages of Australia for their first and last time on the aptly titled The Lydia Finale “A Goodbye & Farewell Australian Tour” to cap off a successful career. Front man Leighton Antelman posted on the bands MySpace earlier in the year with the news that the bands 2010 release ‘Assailants’ would be the bands last album that would be put out under the name Lydia. Antelman expressed how much the fans meant to the band and felt a final run of dates was a necessity to say thank you to the army of followers who have helped make Lydia leave their mark in history on the music lover’s lexicon. And where one journey finishes off, another begins; joining them on the run will be folk rock newcomers from Central Coast NSW Australia Elliot the Bull who have been hard at work in the studio for the past year crafting and honing their sound for the world to now discover. Tickets On Sale Monday October 4th.

    thanks heaps CaptainSlender, im looking for one song in particular... i thought the lyrics went something like "yeah, we'll never be" - or at least sound like that. i was familiar with most of the stuff they played, but this one was unknown to me, and stood out too. i also agree that the crowd was rubbish. we were in the back half of the room and had to tell people to stop chatting. elliott the bull were very good, i agree. cheers again mate.

    Not sure on the order, but these were played: - We Clean Up So Well - A Place Near The City - Always Move Fast - This Is Twice Now - A Camera Lens and Careful Days - I Woke Up Near The Sea - A Fine Evening for a Rogue - One More Day - It's In Your Blood - Hospital - Stay Awake The show was amazing but the majority of the crowd was junk. Not sure if half of the people at the show were just there to pass time until NEXT or whatever else was on in the city. Also, Elliot The Bull were surprisingly good.

    @spatula-gun-xo: Your friend is right. The Arthouse is about as good as it gets; intimate venue, no barriers, great sound, decent drink prices and it doesn't attract dickheads.
