    too many superlatives to describe you. so much passion in your music, so much fragility. none of your peers can touch or come a mile close. the anguish of change, the yearning to roll back time. a lifelong desire to see you play live, to be there singing along in the choir i can hardly wait. i'm practicing my singing already. Mark & colleagues... you are inspirational. indeed, you are the bollocks!

    Dear Chameleons Fans, What would you say is the most characteristic and distinct sound of The Chameleons UK? The semitone-higher-pitched guitars? Dave's 'copyright' reverbs and delays? Mark's intense voice and nostalgic lyrics? The answer is: yes, yes, and yes. But you forgot about one thing: what about the WHIRLY TUBE (...aka 'singing tube')? I've just come up with this fucked up (to some) idea of actually supporting Mark and co. in Berlin with this banal but effective children's toy. It's safe, cheap, quite accessible to purchase online (eg http://cgi.ebay.com/SINGING-GLO-TUBE-Speech-Communication-Interaction-/290490942244?pt=UK_Toys_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item43a29c0324) and definitely would make the concert experience exquisite and one-of-its-kind. I'm unfortunately not familiar with the venues size and acoustics, but hell: what do you think? Is that an affirmative or denial?

    Please note it´s not in fact The Chameleons, but Mark Burgess & Friends playing Chameleons songs. The actual line-up consists of original Chameleons members Mark Burgess & John Lever, but none of the original guitarrists are involved in this Project. It´s more like a tribute band, but anyway still worthwhile seeing if you haven´t seen The Chameleons playing live in the past. This will be perhaps the only oportunity to be as close as ever to listen to Chameleons songs being played live again. Best regards StrangETimeS
