Restivo82 Ulrich was amazing, it was a treat finding out last minute that he was performing in Toronto! I didn't know what to expect for his live performance but listening to his stunning music while seeing the travelling through many streets around the world was a moving experience. Chapterhouse hasn't look that wall of sound from the glory days of shoegaze. The show was great all around!

pjboettcher Thanks for the pictures/links! I went mainly to see Schnauss and have to admit I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for more performance and a little less mixing. On his set I think he touched his synth for maybe 5 minutes total. It was neat to see him setup his own show though, when was the last time you saw a top name performer carry in their own projector screen ;)

Absolutely did not disappoint. I found Schnauss's set odd though. I only recognised Never Be The Same from Goodbye, everything else was new to me, but had an older sound to me. Maybe it was pre-"Ulrich Schnauss" material? I'm not familiar with his previous incarnations.
