Thu 7 Oct – The Blackdiamondskye Tour
I may be a youngin' and have only seen about 7 shows in my lifetime but I'm confident enough to say that this was definitely one of the best shows I've seen in my life. All three bands had amazing energy and stage presence.
I missed Mastodon's first two songs since I arrived a little later than planned, but the rest of their performance was incredible. I may not as a big of fan as them than the other two, but hearing "
Megalodon" actually surprised me (admittedly, I don't keep up with their setlists), so I was going pretty bonkers over it. Coulda used some stuff from Remission Strangely enough, the during Deftones' set I coulda sworn I saw their drummer Brann Dailor walk past the area between the seats and the fences that circle the floor; odd, yet kinda cool.
