Ulver takes up The Norwegian National Opera with their dramatic mix of sound, light and images, together with prominent guests such as Christian Fennesz and the artist and Coil-affiliate Ian Johnstone. This is the first and last time Ulver performs on a major stage in Oslo in 2010.

    This was life affirming. Have seen Ulver the two times they were in UK, but this performance was by far the biggest spectacle wise. Songs were jammed out longer ('Not Saved' with huge drum build-ups and a wall of sound pay off!). The performance art by Ian Johnstone at the beginning and end accompanied by original music from Daniel O'Sullivan was fantastic and extremely disturbing/thought provoking. Kristoffer Rygg wasn't just note perfect, there was a higher level of emotion and angst in his voice than on the records (Big notes in EOS and Little Blue Bird were sang rather than shouted as he had done previously when I've seen them). The new song entitled "ENGLAND" sounded like some of Ulver's most inspired material to date. Literally can not wait for the new album now.

    Koncert bardzo podobny do koncertu w Krakowie z lutego 2010 aczkolwiek klimat z racji na miejsce ciekawszy. Szkoda, że kapela nie ma w zwyczaju bisować.

    Nazilåta du tenker på er Rock Massif fra Svidd Neger-soundtracket. Husker ikke rekkefølgen helt, men de spilte alle låtene de har spilt live hittil (med unntak av The Byrds-coveren fra første konserten) + noe nytt. Intro med hengt mann (ny), EOS, Let the Children Go, Little Blue Bird, Rock Massif, utdrag fra Silence Teaches You How to Sing, Plates 16-17, Porn Piece or the Scars of Cold Kisses, Hallways of Always, Like Music, In the Red, For the Love of God, England (ny sang), Funebre (med Fennesz), Not Saved (som gikk over i en ny melodilinje da Johnstone kom på scenen igjen og viste fram rompa si). Enormt bra konsert. Og lyden var fantastisk! Pleier aldri tenke no særlig over hvor bra lyden er på konserter, men her var den oppsiktsvekkende bra, satt bare og fryda meg.
