Fri 1 Oct – Jack Johnson: To The Sea Tour 2010 Apparently the band hadn't performed for a month save for a game of musical chairs at a kid's birthday party. You wouldn't know it from the performance. So many times I've been to concerts were the studio work was far and away better than the live performance, Not the case with Jack Johnson. The performance was incrediable. Zack Gill was amazing on the keyboards from the piano, accordian, keyboards and even what I think was a bobazalia (excuse my spelling).
There was nothing fancy, no big, prerehersed audiance interactions, just the band performing good song after good song. A very nice concert. Oh and earplugs weren't even neccesary and you could hear the audiance singing along all throught the show, and actually converse with the people you came to the concert with.
Too bad the girl in row in front of me missed the show when she passed out.
