TwoSips it was........but we had a fucking nightmare. nothing was working. we had no sound check and songs fell apart. i can only promise we're a billion times better than normally. we were pretty angry afterwards! crap crap sound, terrible stage with no where to move...sigh!

paulclarke235 soundwise Strangeways were a better outfit than lost knives imo....also does anyone know what The second track, that lost knives played...its the one on that youtube clip posted earlier?

I agree the sound wasnt great but i thought they made up for it with a brilliant setlist and lots of energy (possibly the best ive seen them since 2004). Ive been to a lot of lifeless gigs on monday nights but the crowd were totally into it despite it being packed as chuff. Ps was great to hear songs like blackout, scottish wildlife experience and apologies for insect life

TheAlexH I'm just guessing, but perhaps the low ceiling didn't help? Maybe it was a combination of that, a poor PA and possibly even the sound engineer...

crestofawave Yeah? The guitars sounded a little quiet up at the front but the main thing I noticed was epic, epic distortion in the main speakers. Ears took a bit of an unexpected hammering there! Question: why were the acoustics that bad? I'm not a sound engineer so clueless!
