Ha no i was on Malkmus side but we did appreciate the dive nonetheless. Dino Jr for me in Vicar st and possibly in Galway too money/transport allowing.

The stagediver miscalculated the general fatness of his torso with the distance from stage to crowd ratio. Its an easy mistake to make with an ignorant brute of a bouncer hurtling towards you. Was politely manhandled out with 2 songs left in the encore. Missed the squeeze and had a savage night...and an orange outside.. No injuries but might have landed on or around yourgoodself niamheboo. Hope no major neck breakage was bestowed upon you by my lummox frame. Anyone goin to see dinosaur jr....

@arseontoast that was podge from ham sandwich. pavement are his favourite band ever,i saw him being very festive indeed. @shaninov its absolutely acceptable of course :-P Dont be afraid. on a more serious(ish) note-people can do what they want at gigs..stand still, dance, whatever. Once its not hurting anyone around them/wrecking their experience. No one wants a dance off, but at the same time sometimes if the crowd are a little *too* quiet and still it can rub off on the gig overall. I think everyone could agree with that? it depends on the band too i guess. Ill be sure to remember that movement is equated with being a moron for some people, and 'blogging' about it the next day is forbidden. Im gonna take my ~genuinely~ stifling stupidity back to the election results. Glad you all enjoyed the gig...anyone going to ATP next week? volcano allowing?

i was nodding my head/tapping my foot and singing along. kinda did a thing where i shake my leg, not sure if this constitutes dancing - is this acceptable? i need to know how to act for my next big indie gig.thanks

Good gig, good setlist. I went down from Tyrone by myself and still had a fantastic night and met alot of really great people. Wouldn't have missed it for the world, not any of it.

Oh and on Primavera - yeah people seemed well into it last year to me. Entire place was going nuts to Aphex Twin at 4 in the mornin. And at the ridiculous disco at fucking 7 or something in the morning of the last night (you know what I mean). Ah good times...
