Wed 20 Jul – U2 360° Tour
I was really looking forward to this show because it was postponed from last summer when Bono hurt his back and had to get surgery; a year is a long time to wait for a show! The last time I saw U2 was at the old Giants Stadium in Sept. 2009. I enjoyed that show, but this one blew that one out of the water!
Of course, I must start at the beginning. Took the train there again like last time. I figured that it would take long to get out of there, but since I was going from work in the city, it was the easiest way. I met my brother in Penn Station and we took the 3:30 to Secaucus Junction to get the first train out to The New Meadowlands, the 4:00. We did this because once again I bought the VIP packages. I did this more for the seat than the "extras" that came with the ticket, but I'll talk about those too. Last time I was impressed with the food setup that came with the VIP package, but this time it wasn't that good. More about that in a bit.
