U.K. RockMetal legends BUDGIE are returning to Australia in 2009 for their second national tour. The raw energy of this band was a catalyst for the British & U.S. classic rockmetal scene in the early 70s. The power of their performances during the 2008 Australian tour showed that the excitement of their live shows continues to thrill concert goers young and old.

Their many fans include musicians who have covered their songs like Metallica (Breadfan, Crash Course), Soundgarden (Homicidal Suicidal), Iron Maiden (I Cant See My Feelings) & Van Halen (In For The Kill).

BUDGIE will be playing one show only in Wollongong on Saturday 21st November 2009 at Waves Nightclub in the Towradgi Beach Hotel.

They will be ably supported with Australian guitar legend Phil Emmanuel playing his full set as Special Guest artist and local band Stone Ox opening the show.

With Burke Shelley on Bass & Vocals, Steve Williams on drums and long time friend DIOs talented axeman Craig Goldy on guitars, BUDGIE is the must see show in 2009 for lovers of power rock.
