Meanwhile, their tour manager decided to go for mass appeal and managed to arrange a special appearance by Cannibal Corpse, with Bloodbath as main support. Earlier rumours of Slayer were unfounded, as they are touring in the US at the time. Lombardo told Kerrang!: ‘I am very sorry we could not make it to spread the f**king awesome that is slayer across the globe, with our old tour partners the pussycat dolls, but we our devoted to our US tour. We apologise to our fans for any inconvenience, and can reliably inform you that our fellow guitar w**kers, DragonForce, are able to make the gig.’
