BMSR was pretty well mind-blowing. Loved the downtempo + crazy groove improv they played their songs with, made time slow down and the dock melt. other bands kinda sucked, their acoustics were not up to par, just sounded a little muddy.

Didn't catch Dan Friel. Blank Dogs were pretty shitty, left midway through the set to just take a walk around the pier. Came back and caught all of BMSR's set, I thought they were alright, they kinda bored me... I expected a lot more from them, honestly. Maybe it was the setting? I always thought of them as a really sunny day, foresty kind of band.

Dan Friel was interesting, his name reminds me of a hot dog, one that can circuit bend gameboys. Blank Dogs needs to throw out their chorus pedals and not mute their strings when their guitars were feedbacking. Black Moth Super Rainbow was cool. The singer was awesome, I got to stroke his coat thing, and he stared at me funny. I couldn't see his eyes, but I knew he was.
