The hill worked out really well, I'm glad I thought to stop by the venue to see if listening was possible. We even got acknowledged by Ben Gibbard! haha. It was awesome.

I'm not going to this now. I don't have a ticket & I'm sick that's why I'm missing it.:( I'm upset but not too upset. I'll see AB & DCFC whenever they come back here. Even though I didn't have a ticket but I was still going to go to this & going to watch from a nearby hill outside of the venue. I was going to try that but I'm too sick to try that now. I heard from friends who have done that with shows at Red Butte.

It's really more the venues fault. The same thing happened with Wilco last year. You think they'd set aside half for the public, and let the members get the rest.

They put a blog on their myspace the day that tickets "went on sale." Pretty much every comment was people saying they were already sold out and that they felt ripped off and such. They deleted the blog.

Death Cab really sucks for this. I love smaller venues especially red butte, but this is really stupid. They have enough fans that they should play a bigger venue and if they wanna play out side why not usana? I saw them two years ago at McKay Events Center and it was MUCH BETTER. I was in the nosebleeds, but at least I was THERE.

They went on sale a few weeks ago for Garden Club members and people bought them all that way. I got mine, but my friend was pretty mad they sold out. Luckily I had an extra ticket for her.
